To exclude this amendment from the text of the draft law, made 274 peers, against — 135.
Earlier, the members of the house of lords tried to force the government to take over the guarantees on the rights of the Europeans in the territory of great Britain, before the start of negotiations with Brussels. However, after this amendment was rejected on Monday by the lower house, the Commons, the peers did not insist on this change to the bill.
