The authorities will force the Dutchman to catch from the channel 80 goldfish
The Dutch authorities demanded from the inhabitant of the city Centre to catch a gold fish, which he released in the channel. About it reports BBC News.
The Netherlands Agency for entrepreneurship gave to Hans van Manena (Hans van Manen) one month to fulfill the requirements. After that catching fish will state employees, and he will have to pay for their work.
In June 2016 van Manen released in the city channel in Veenendaal 80 goldfish and Golden ides 200.
He claims that he did it out of love for animals.
Besides, the man was hoping that the goldfish will become a local landmark.
The authorities claim that his actions violated the laws protecting the flora and fauna of the country from invasive species. They fear that through the water the eggs will fall into the other ponds, and goldfish will begin to breed with living in the Netherlands of the Golden carp.
Van Manen regrets that his endeavor ended in this manner, but ready to obey the government’s request. He plans to sell the grown in the channel of the goldfish and use the money to buy them instead of the IDE, which caused officials claims.
