Chairman of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin announced the establishment of the speaker of the lower house of the Council for development of urban areas and public spaces. The Council for the development of urban areas and public spaces will be the second Advisory body to the speaker of the state Duma after the already established Council for legislative support of the development of the digital economy. “The work of the second Council will be devoted to the development of urban areas, public spaces”, — said Vyacheslav Volodin. He expects that the Council will consist of representatives of regional parliaments, considering that “these questions are very relevant for the regions.”
