The Russian delegation to PACE will return in case of cancellation the rules for challenging the authority of the national delegations. This was stated by the head of the Federation Council Committee Konstantin Kosachev.
“The Russian delegation will not take long and will return to discuss the most difficult issues here in the Assembly as soon as these issues are a regular ensure democratic procedures in the Assembly will be solved in full volume”, — TASS quoted Kosachev.
According to him, Russia believes that these problems are solvable.
On March 10 in Madrid is the PACE standing Committee session with the participation of Russian representatives.
In 2014 and 2015, the PACE has deprived the Russian delegation of the right to vote at the session to participate in the work of statutory bodies and the monitoring of elections. In response, the delegation left the PACE until the end of 2015.
In January 2016, Russia decided not to send the necessary to confirm the authority of the delegation documents. This year, the country has also not sent the documents. At the same time work with the Council of Europe continues.
