The state Duma plans to remove from the bill ridiculous names paragraph, which permits the guardianship to call children instead of parents. This right they had to in that case, if the parents within one month after the birth of a child did not register it in the Registrar’s office. About it he told RT Chairman of state Duma Committee on family, women and children, Tamara Pletneva.
“This situation definitely will be removed for the second reading, because it was a lot of comments,” she says.
Director of “Association of parents ‘ committees and communities” Olga Letkova told RT that the parent community has asked deputies to remove from the bill exactly this point. In the state Duma was sent a lot of letters with complaints from parents.
“This situation caused us big problems. We can say that thanks to his parents, was substituted for the guardianship. But many moms and dads simply is not possible to register a child, for example, for health reasons,” says Letkova.
Earlier it was reported that the state Duma adopted in the first reading the bill on the prohibition to register ridiculous names of the children. In them, according to the document, you cannot use numerals, numerical symbols, profanity, abbreviations and ranks.
