Link fighter-interceptor MiG-31 air base of naval aviation Pacific fleet (PF), stationed in Kamchatka, made a long flight to the airfield of the Central Angular air connection and air defense force in the Primorsky Krai, where he spent the interception of aerial targets with the elements of air combat, told TASS head of information provision in Vladivostok, the press service of the OIE captain of the second rank Vladimir Matveev.
“The flight was more than 2200 kilometers. During the flights the pilots completed the task of search, detection and interception of air targets and process elements of air combat,” – said Matveev.
In Primorye, Kamchatka pilots will participate in joint flight tactical exercises, spend a few dozen training sorties with the tasks on unfamiliar terrain. Also the crews of fighter – interceptors MiG-31 will pass a number of special tests to increase the level of airmanship and professional class.
