Activist Ildar Dading, who was detained during a picket near the building of the Federal service of execution of punishments (FSIN), released from OVD “Yakimanskoe” after identification. About it RIA Novosti said a source familiar with the situation.
“The police took him to the police because he refused, the documents show. His identity was established, after which he was released,” — said the Agency interlocutor.
According to the source “Interfax”, at the Dading was made the administrative Protocol under article 20.2 of the administrative code (“violation of the established order of holding a picket”).
The Dading noted that the police were polite with him. “Although I feel that it violated my constitutional right: I was detained, is not available to me in accordance with my requirement and in accordance with article 24 part 2 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation with the documents and materials on the basis of which they demanded my passport,” he told the National news service (NSN).
Dading was arrested on the morning of Friday, March 10. In turn with the opposition leader Lev Ponomarev they conducted a picket for the resignation of the head of the UFSIN for the Republic of Karelia Alexander Terekhov and the chief of IK-7 Sergey Cassava.
The activist’s wife Anastasia Zotov explained that her husband was detained due to the fact that he forgot the passport.
Dading, serving a sentence for multiple violations at rallies, was released on February 26. The conviction was overturned by the Supreme court.
The activist was sentenced to three years in a penal colony on charges of participation in uncoordinated protests in December 2015. In March 2016 the term of imprisonment was reduced by six months. In November Dading complained about the beatings in the IR-7, but the check conducted by the regional Investigation Committee of the violations of the rights of opposition was revealed.
