Hawking supported the idea of creating a world government
British scientist Stephen Hawking has backed the idea of creating a world government. About this physicist said in an interview with The Times.
According to the scientist, at present the world is under threat of destruction as a result of biological or nuclear war. It is a manifestation of human aggression, which had previously contributed to evolution.
“We need to control this inherited instinct with logic and common sense,” says Hawking.
He notes that it can provide “some form of world government,” which, according to the scientist, does not exclude the occurrence of other problems, including dictatorship
Hawking repeatedly made controversial statements. For example, previously he had declared the attack “the most dangerous time on the planet,” and urged to escape from the Earth and ignore the aliens. In 2015, the British scientist announced plans to become a trademark.
The main scientific result of Hawking is associated with the description of black hole radiation. To the study of physics has pushed the visit to the USSR, held in 1970-ies, in which the British learned that Vladimir Gribov takes for granted that black holes radiate due to vacuum fluctuations. Soviet physicist had not published for this reason a single article, Hawking quantitatively calculated thermal spectrum of a black hole.
Fame Hawking received after April 1988, he published his popular science book “a brief history of time”. It has been translated into dozens of languages and published a total circulation of more than 10 million copies.
