Vice-speaker of the state Duma Irina Yarovaya said that the Internet of children to suicide bow using the mechanisms developed by psychiatrists and psychologists, reports TASS on Thursday, March 9.
“Even primary assessment of the situation indicates that we are talking about organized criminal activities. (…) There was highly professional, honed by the algorithms, according to sequence, the timing step is completed, the professional psychiatrists and psychologists that created these algorithms,” said Spring.
According to her, such activities can be considered a new blow to security due to the fact that the threatened children.
Yarovaya added that during the afternoon of 9 March, the state Duma will be introduced a bill the penalty of eight years in prison for bringing a minor to suicide.
In November 2016 in the case of “groups of death” in social network “Vkontakte” have arrested one of the organizers of such communities Budykina Philip, known as Philip the Fox. The investigators found that the young man incited teenagers to suicide through play. According to them, the actions of a young man influenced the decision of 15 teenagers to commit suicide, five others were at risk, but still alive.
