Raul Castro criticized trump’s plans to build a wall on the border with Mexico
According to Cuban, “migrants can be stopped not through walls, but through cooperation, understanding and peace.”
HAVANA, March 6. /Offset. TASS bekrenev Andrei/. Chairman of the state Council and the Council of Ministers of Cuba Raul Castro criticized the plans of the President of the United States Donald trump to build a wall on the border with Mexico.
“The intention to erect a wall on the border with Mexico is a manifestation of irrationality, in respect not only of this sister country, but of the entire region,” said Castro opened Sunday in Caracas a summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the peoples of America (ALBA), adding that Cuba expresses in this matter, solidarity with the Mexican people. The words of the Cuban leader is quoted by the newspaper Granma.
During the election campaign, trump has consistently advocated the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico to stop the flow of illegal immigrants on American soil. The billionaire stressed that forced to pay for the erection of this building the Mexican government.
