Mexican police have rescued more than 30 Cuban immigrants
MEXICO city, 5 Mar — RIA Novosti. The Federal police of Mexico was released on 31 illegal immigrants from Cuba, where criminals are locked up in the basement in the resort of Cancun, according to the municipal Ministry of public security in the city.
According to the Ministry, the Cubans were held for two months by bandits who demanded for their release with relatives in the United States a considerable amount of money.
As a result of the RAID, the citizens of Cuba were released, they received medical assistance and provided food. The ultimate goal of the Cubans were to get through Mexico to the United States.
