Deputy Prime Minister for social issues Olga Golodets instructed to create a register of patients who need pain relief drugs containing narcotic and psychotropic substances. On Thursday, March 2, RIA Novosti reported.
“We have now developed a road map. This theme remains a priority. Those people who need pain relief, it needs to openly and timely,” — said Golodets.
It is noted that the order was given to the Ministry of health. The register should start operating on 1 January 2018.
Also, the Ministry of health will start in the structure of electronic card, which is developing the office module on the diagnosis of pain syndrome and algorithms of selection and appointment of therapy.
According to Golodets, in 2016 compared to 2015, the number of patients who received adequate pain relief, increased by 46 percent to 66 870 people.
