The Russian climber was killed, torn in the Irkutsk region from rock to competition climbing. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to regional GU Ministry of emergency situations.
The tragedy occurred on the Circum-Baikal railway near Irkutsk at the international games festival on Baikal “Zimniada-2017”, which is attended by athletes from different cities of Russia and CIS.
A girl born in 1990 fell off a cliff. During its transportation by rescuers she had died.
The circumstances and causes of the incident are being investigated.
