AFP: Le Pen received a summons, but refused to appear in court

The leader of the French party “national front” candidate for the French presidency, marine Le Pen received a subpoena in the case of possible fraud in the European Parliament, however, informed the judges that will not come to him until the conclusion of the campaign. This was reported on Friday by Agence France-Presse (AFP), citing informed sources.
According to AFP, Le Pen was addressed to a subpoena for a potential formal charges in the investigation of cases of fictitious employment of the staff of the “NetFront” in the European Parliament. According to the Agency, citing sources and lawyer Le Pen Rodolphe Bosely, the politician responded with a letter in which he indicated that it did not intend to appear at the interview with the judges before the end of the election campaign in France.
The investigation against the “natsfronta” was launched after a complaint from the leadership of the European Parliament, which suspected the staff of the French party in the misuse of funds from the EU budget
Suspicion fell on 20 of the 24 assistants of MEPs from the NF. The administration of the EP found that along with their activities in Strasbourg they retained official positions in the party.
In particular, the European Bureau for combating fraud (OLAF) insist that some aides to Le Pen in the European Parliament has been issued to the fictitious work, therefore from the leader “natsfronta” demanded the return to the Treasury of the European Parliament about €340 thousand, which were previously paid its employees in Strasbourg.
