The white house won’t punish Conway for calling buy clothes from Ivanka
The White house said that President’s Advisor Donald trump, Kellyann Conway “unintentionally and without selfish motives” were encouraged to buy items from Ivanka trump during a TV interview.
Adviser to the President on ethics Stefan Passantino announced that it had submitted to the office of government ethics a letter stating that he was found by Conway and discussed with her the issue.
February 9, Kellyann Conway on television, Fox News encouraged viewers to purchase items from the collections of the President’s daughter Ivanka trump.
Shortly after that, the head of the ethics Committee of the us Congress Jason Chavez called this behavior of the presidential adviser unacceptable, wrong and clearly beyond the bounds of decency.
Earlier it became known that one of the largest U.S. retailers of fashionable clothes Nordstrom refused to sell products owned by Ivanka trump, designer of the company, including bags and shoes. Then Donald trump has accused Nordstrom bias against Ivanka.
The reaction of the trump caused the indignation of the Democrats who said that is unacceptable and unethical “attack on a private company because she refused to participate in the increasing wealth of his family”.
Earlier this week, Conway was at the center of another scandal after the advent of photography, which can be seen as she climbed up on the sofa in the oval office of the White house without removing shoes.
She explained that she was asked to take a photo from a certain angle. In this study, according to the Advisor, was crowded with journalists.
