The Kremlin will study the question of the abolition of criminal penalties for violations at rallies

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov interested in the initiative to abolish criminal punishment for violations at rallies. About it the assistant to the head of state told the correspondent of radio “Moscow speaking”.

Earlier the proposal was made by the Commissioner for human rights Tatyana Moskalkova. “Such initiatives, they deserve attention. As a rule, they are very carefully considered by the different agencies that must give its opinion, to Express their point of view. Think it or otherwise it will be considered at this time”, — said Peskov.

We are talking about the article of the criminal code, which was first sentenced well-known opposition leader Ildar Dading. He received three years in prison in December 2015. Then in March 2016, his term of imprisonment reduced to six months, and February 22, 2017, the Presidium of the Russian Supreme Court overturned the verdict Dadina, decided to close the case against him and to recognize the right to rehabilitation.
