Media: the leader of the IG* issued a farewell speech to supporters
MOSCOW, 1 Mar — RIA Novosti. The leader of the terrorist group “Islamic state” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in his speech conceded defeat ISIS* in the recent fighting and called on supporters to take refuge in mountainous areas, Alsumaria television reported, citing a source in Nineveh province.
“Al-Baghdadi called his speech a farewell, spread it among the preachers of the IG and explained what was going on with the group. Preachers began talking about the losses incurred to the group in Nineveh province and other parts of Iraq,” told the TV station source.
“It also called for the terrorists to go in the mountainous remote regions of Iraq and Syria,” the source added.
Earlier it was reported that in the Western part of Mosul, the Iraqi leaders of the IG flee from the city.
The operation of the Iraqi military and the coalition headed by the USA to liberate Mosul began in October 2016, had previously been released in the Eastern part of the city.
