MOSCOW, April 26. /TASS/. Five Russian seamen from a vessel “Merle” released in Libya, returned home. This was reported on Wednesday to journalists the Russian President’s special envoy on the Middle East and Africa, Deputy foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.
“Five people brought yesterday, they were very happy,” said the diplomat.
March 5 coast guard in the coastal waters of Libya, was detained and then escorted to the port of Tripoli, the Russian cargo ship “Merle”, which is owned by the St. Petersburg company MT Group. Russian diplomats have made every effort to free the crew.
