The Ministry of health has proposed to restrict all forms of advertising of junk food, sweets and carbonated drinks. In Department believe that it is necessary to legislatively regulate the showing movies aimed at children’s audience. This is stated in the strategy of the Ministry on formation of healthy lifestyle of the population by 2025.
The Ministry of health finalized version of the strategy for formation of healthy lifestyle of the population until 2025, which was proposed to restrict all forms of advertising of junk food, sweets and carbonated drinks. On Saturday, April 22, according to video News Service.
“Legislative restrictions on all forms of advertising of food products with a high content of energy, saturated fat, TRANS fat, sugar or salt, primarily aimed at children and involving children, such as sweet, especially sodas, chips, fast food, chocolate bars, sausage products”, — stated in the text.
Originally, the Agency proposed to introduce a limit on the time and duration of commercials of such products on television. The revised draft indicates the need to extend such measures to other forms of advertising.
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of health in the same strategy proposed to ban Smoking VAPI and electronic cigarettes in public places. Also it stipulates a ban on the sale of wapow no person under the age of 21. In addition, it is proposed to prohibit advertising of these products and to limit the number of places where they can be purchased. In addition, it is proposed to gradually increase the excise duties and consumer prices for electronic cigarettes, VAPI and other similar articles, as well as to set rigid technical regulations.
