Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law providing for a simplified procedure in obtaining a residence permit in Russia for the deported from the territory of the Crimean ASSR. The text of the document published on the portal of legal information.

It is noted that after the presentation of a certificate of rehabilitation they do not have to issue a temporary residence permit. A simplified procedure applies not only for the deported, but for their families — grandparents, parents, adoptive parents, spouses, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters.

The document was adopted by the state Duma and the Federation Council approved in April.

As reported TASS, according to the interior Ministry of the Republic of Crimea, from may 2014 to February 2015 was submitted more than 18 thousand applications on granting certificates of rehabilitation.

In April 2014, shortly after the annexation of Crimea to Russia, Putin signed a decree on rehabilitation of Crimean Tatars and other residents on the Peninsula peoples affected by repression. Crimean Tatar language in the region declared the official along with Russian and Ukrainian.
