Samoilova commented on the decision of the EBU to discuss her participation in the Eurovision song contest

European broadcasting Union an hour earlier stated that Russia will not take part in “Eurovision-2017” in Kiev, as it refused the proposed alternatives after Ukraine’s refusal to let Samoilov on the territory of the country. The EBU has offered Russia either broadcast the competition via satellite, or to change the participant. On the Russian channel one stated that they consider these options unacceptable and in this situation it is not possible to broadcast the contest.
“Of course, I was upset because this is my dream. Until recently I had hoped that this issue can be resolved, but unfortunately, it did not work,” said Samoylova RIA Novosti on Thursday.
She added that he did not know whether to go for the competition in 2018, but I’m sure Eurovision will still be in her life.
“Eurovision-2017” will be held in Kiev. Russia should act in the second semifinal on may 11, and the final is scheduled for 13 th.
