The Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu during the meeting of the defence Ministry Board on Wednesday, April 12, stated that the equipment of the Russian nuclear triad modern weapons is 60%.
“Increased combat power of the nuclear triad. She is now equipped with modern weapons by 60%”, — quotes Shoigu, Interfax.
According to him, currently, the strategic missile forces combat ready is 99% of launchers.
“Of these, 96% in constant readiness for immediate launch,” — said the Minister.
Previously, the FAN reported that the Russian aerospace forces will have to adopt 200 new missiles “air — air” in 2017.
