Berlusconi urged Italians to abstain from meat on Easter
Moscow. April 10. INTERFAX.RU — Former Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi took part in the campaign for a vegetarian Easter, writes on Monday the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Video about this was circulated by the Italian League for the protection of animals. In it, Berlusconi “sheltered” five lambs, hugging them and feeding from a bottle, the newspaper notes.
“Stand up for life, make a choice in favor of a vegetarian Easter,” reads a slogan that supports video former Italian Prime Minister.
The video was widely disseminated in social networks.
Previously, a number of Italian publications have confirmed that Berlusconi is indeed a vegetarian.
