German media reported about preparation of a terrorist attack at the Russian Embassy in Berlin
Moscow. April 10. INTERFAX.RU — German police detained immigrant, who probably planned the terrorist act in front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin, wrote on Monday, German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel.
According to the police, we are talking about 25-year-old native of Morocco who received a waiver after submitting a petition for asylum in Germany. The newspaper said that the man was planning to commit a terrorist act, what constitutes a “preparation of a crime threatening state security”.
The Moroccan was arrested last Saturday near Leipzig. Currently he is in custody. What penalties threaten the suspect in the case of recognition of guilt, is not specified.
