Earlier, replying to the statement made by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Kiev authorities staged a provocation in the Kerch Strait for the cancellation of the election, Poroshenko said that the President of the country elected by the people of Ukraine, not Moscow. He also said that the cancellation of the upcoming elections in the country would benefit only Russia.
A member of the Federation Council noted that the statement of the Ukrainian leader “defies logic”. According to dzhabarov, the first saying Poroshenko is “absolutely true”, the Senator noted that the President is really elected by the people of Ukraine.
The statement of the Ukrainian President that the postponement of the elections will be beneficial only to Russia, the Senator called “defies logic”.
“I can’t understand what its meaning. The cancellation of elections there is only one beneficiary — Mr. Poroshenko. Another honest chance to win it simply is not,” concluded Jabbarov.
Earlier Vladimir Putin called the incident in the Kerch Strait provocation, noting that among the crew members of the Ukrainian courts, violated the border of Russia, were two employees of the security service of Ukraine, who actually led the operation.
The President stressed that Russian border guards had performed their functions for the protection of the state border. According to him, the provocation in the Black sea tied to a low rating of the President of Ukraine ahead of the elections.
