Ukraine refused from Russian medicines
The state service of Ukraine on drugs and drug control has banned the import and sale of more than 40 manufactured in Russia drugs. This is stated in the decree, published on the Agency’s website.
According to the service, quality of drug supply does not meet the requirements of national legislation. In this regard, it is decided “immediately to check availability of these drugs and to take measures for their removal for disposal”.
Among other things, the list includes antibiotics, vaccines, anti-inflammatory drugs. In addition to the Russian medicines, the prohibition also included products from France, Germany and several other countries.
In August 2017 Rospotrebnadzor warned the Russians about the spread of tuberculosis in Ukraine. The Ministry also stressed that Ukraine in 2014 among the five countries with the most frequent cases of drug-resistant tuberculosis.
