The foreign Ministry called the unsubstantiated accusations the US about the relations of Russian companies with the DPRK
Moscow. August 16. INTERFAX.RU — the US Imposed sanctions against the Russian company “PROFINET” and its head contacts with the DPRK based on empty, unsubstantiated charges and are under pressure from anti-Russian sentiments of the political elite, said to “Interfax” Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
“As for the situation directly with the Russian company “PROFINET” and its leader Vasily by Kolchanova, these limitations are introduced, as is common now in the US, without presenting any evidence, on the basis of empty, not supported by any facts of the allegations,” he said, commenting on the situation.
“Under pressure from the political elite that is configured negatively to Russia, the US continues to tighten sanctions spiral, apparently, they can’t stop. Restriction are stamped under any pretext, without regard to the reality and consequences for bilateral relations”, — said the diplomat.
According to Ryabkov, Moscow is considering a response to the extension of the sanctions list of the USA against Russian companies in connection with North Korea.
As reported before, the U.S. government expanded sanctions list of individuals and entities associated with the DPRK, and included one company and one individual from Russia. In the list of the U.S. Treasury is now listed as the company “PROFINET” and its General Director Vasily quivers.
