Russia beat Ukraine in the WTO dispute
MOSCOW, 30 Jul — RIA Novosti. Russia has won the dispute to the WTO with Ukraine, reported RIA Novosti Director of the Department of trade negotiations Ministry of economic development Maxim Medvedkov.
According to the Ukrainian side, in 2013 Russia restricts the supply to Ukraine of cars, rolling stock, turnouts, and other components. In Kiev claimed Moscow’s actions were unreasonable, however, the WTO decided in favor of Russia.
This is the second dispute, which Russia won against Ukraine in the WTO. In July, the arbitration has satisfied most of the requirements according to the suit, which dealt with the duties on ammonium nitrate manufactured in Russia. The main complaint of Moscow was the fact that Kiev has used unfair methods of adjustments, underestimating domestic prices for gas which the Russian company was acquired for the production of ammonium nitrate.
