MOSCOW, may 12. /TASS/. Unmanned underwater vehicles “Poseidon” with a nuclear power plant will go to Navy of Russia in the framework of the existing state armaments program for the years 2018-2027, their carrier will be under construction on “sevmashe” a new nuclear submarine. This was reported by TASS source in the military-industrial complex.
“System “Poseidon” is included in the state armament programme until 2027 and must be entered in the Navy until the end of the program. It includes several high-speed deep-sea torpedoes with small nuclear power plant. Their carrier will be nuclear submarine, built at the “Sevmash” – said the Agency interlocutor.
