Rostov court asked to enter a position and to release pregnant from jail
On Tuesday, the Rostov regional court will decide on the measure of restraint for the accountant of the company “Alyans-agro” Anastasia Kamburova whose history has left on the Federal level. Woman accused of illegal cashing in of money funds and from February 16, kept in jail, despite the pregnancy, serious health problems and the need to care for seven-year-old daughter. Lawyers consider that the consequence of forcing her to testify against brother — passing on the same case, businessman Alexey Kuznetsov. The interior Ministry called the arrest is lawful, indicating that neither the pregnancy nor the presence of a minor child is not an obstacle to detention in prison.
Rostov regional court will consider the defense motion Anastasia Kamburova who is charged under part 2 of article 187 of the criminal code (illegal turnover of funds and payments). Earlier, on February 16, the court concluded Ms. Kamburov in jail now the defense requests to put her under house arrest.
According to investigators, in 2017, the owner of OOO “Alyans-agro” Alexey Kuznetsov illegally cashed 96 million rubles received from the two grain companies. The consequence believes that money was returned, and Mr. Kuznetsov held a certain percentage for “work”. Thus, the businessman allegedly replaced Bank and a profit for the illegal banking activities. However mister Kuznetsov has fled from criminal prosecution in Cyprus, after which the investigation began, his sister Anastasia Kamburova who worked as an accountant in the “Alliance-agro”. On 16 February, the court, at the request of the investigation decided to make Anastasia Kamburova into custody. The defense believes this measure is excessive and is not humane, as the 27-years old woman is on the first month of pregnancy. Lawyer Olga Trofimova in an interview with “MBH-media” pointed out that the last pregnancy her client ended tragically: “it was supposed to be twins, but one baby died in the womb”. Father arrested Igor Kuznetsov told Kommersant that two years ago his daughter had surgery to remove a brain tumor, so she needs constant supervision of a physician. “Now her condition deteriorated, began to have severe headaches and fainting. In prison there are no doctors and medications to help her, — said Mr. Kuznetsov.— Anastasia requires a range of medication and monitoring by a neurologist, the need hospital treatment, MRI of the brain and constant consultation from the physician. Now I don’t even know what medications she can convey in jail — she’s pregnant and only a specialist may prescribe the right course of treatment”. In addition, he added, house Anastasia has left seven year old daughter. Mr. Kuznetsov says that he provided the court with the necessary medical certificates, however, the judge did not consider these documents in the remand.
