Medvedev has proposed to consider the tax on movable property
MOSCOW, 27 Jun — RIA Novosti. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev proposed to consider the fate of the tax on movable property.
“He mentioned a tax on movable property, would be possible to consider the fate of this tax in the context of improvement of tax legislation, which is scheduled in accordance with the instructions of the President,” — said Medvedev at a state Council meeting on development of investment attractiveness of regions.
Passed this fall legislation effectively returns the tax on personal property from January 1, 2018, abolishing the Federal benefit, due to which it was zeroed. Now, such exemption will only be given subjects of the Russian Federation, taking appropriate regional laws. In 2018, the rate is set at 1.1% and from 2019 for 2.2%. Business representatives repeatedly expressed concern over this increase in tax burden, noting that most regions of the privilege to enter the plan.
