The government has proposed to change the procedure for the issuance of housing orphans
The government submitted to the state Duma a bill to amend the procedure for providing housing to orphans and children left without parental care. The document published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The project proposes to introduce a single procedure for the registration of orphans in need of housing, and to create regional lists. Monitor timely submission by the representatives of the orphans statements about their inclusion in the list should the guardianship and guardianship.

Housing for orphans will be allowed to buy from the owners-individuals. This, according to the authors of the project, will allow to solve issues with the software in a timely manner.
In June, Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets has written to the relevant agencies in order to develop amendments to the law allowing the orphans with severe disabilities and mental disabilities to live in boarding schools until the age of 23. Now they are at the age of 18 sent to adult psychoneurological institutions but Golodets believes that this is wrong, because “these guys don’t become adults in the normal sense of the word due to existing mental and physical disorders”.
