In the Philippines, the ship sank with 250 people on Board
Moscow. 21 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — the Ship on Board of which there were 251 people, capsized and sank off the coast of Quezon province in the Eastern part of the Philippines, said on Thursday the British newspaper The Independent.
“We heard about the victims, but we’re still checking (this information — if),” — said the representative of the coast guard of the Philippines Armand Balilo.
He noted that the ship capsized and sank when he was sent to the Philippine island of Polillo in bad weather.
The Independent reported that strong wind and waves complicate the work arrived on the scene rescuers.
