She was sentenced to three years and ten days imprisonment. In addition, for animal abuse and killing of girls received 150 hours of compulsory work.
Friend convicted Viktor Smyshlyaev was found guilty under article “inciting hatred or hostility, and humiliation of human dignity”, he was sentenced to three years in a General regime colony.
“The Khabarovsk regional court has reduced the period of detention for Savchenko to four years, Orlova — up to three years, as the Statute of limitations for crimes under articles 245 of the criminal code “cruelty to animals” and 148 of the criminal code “insult of feelings of believers” has expired.
