Trutnev supported the development of renewable energy in the far East
The Plenipotentiary of the President in DFO has abandoned the idea of creating a special Fund for renewable energy development in the region, said Anatoly Chubais.
MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. Vice-Premier, the presidential envoy in the far Eastern Federal district Yuri Trutnev supported the development of generation based on renewable energy sources (RES) in the far East, the previously proposed “Rosnano”. About this informed the head of “RUSNANO” Anatoly Chubais at the conference “Future of renewable energy in Russia.”
“The basic conclusions are as follows. First, the idea of renewable energy development under this scheme in the far East supported,” he said.
Chubais also reminded that “Rosnano” has suggested to create special Fund for renewable energy development in the far East. However, this idea, according to Chubais, and Yury Trutnev was not supported.
“He proposed a separate Fund as we speak. Yuri Petrovich reasonably says, “Why a new Fund? We for each task will be a separate Fund to create?” — said Chubais.
He added that the debate on the tariff for electricity generated by renewable in the far East is still ongoing. “RUSNANO” offers to implement renewable energy projects not on the program PDM (contract for supply of power), and with the application of the classical mechanisms for guaranteeing return of investments.
