Moscow. 7 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — the County of Los Angeles (California, USA) found the highest ever recorded in the region, the level of risk from wildfires, reports CNN on Thursday. In Los Angeles, introduced the state of emergency.
It is noted that now the fires raging in four separate areas of southern California. The area suffered from their territory amounted to almost 50 thousand hectares.
The largest fire, called “Thomas” has reached more than 36 thousand acres in Ventura County. The fire service of the state has warned County residents about the existence of “the high probability of a strong spread of fire”.

“We have the night and the day (Thursday — if) full of tests,” — said at a press conference the representative of fire service of staff Tim Chavez.
He noted that strong winds and extremely dry vegetation in the region highly complicate the fire fighting.
Earlier, the state government ordered the evacuation of more than 200 thousand people.

It was reported that fires in southern areas of the state have burned down hundreds of buildings. At least three firefighters were injured while extinguishing the fire.
In addition, the local media reported the death of one person in the accident, which was caused by a fire.
The spread of fire also led to power outages. More than 260 thousand people in the South of the state remain without electricity.
