Prosecutors have identified unjustified debts for gas in Dagestan

The Prosecutor’s office of Dagestan opened a criminal case under part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code (fraud committed by an organized group or in especially large size) because of the unreasonable accrual of debts for gas to residents of the Kayakentsky district, the press service of the Ministry in Instagram. The case was filed after the inspection carried out by Prosecutor’s office in conjunction with the regional interior Ministry and the FSB.

“The work being done to combat crime in the sphere of fuel and energy complex of the Republic Prosecutor’s office and law enforcement agencies identified numerous instances of unjustified accrual of the citizens ‘debts for gas consumption and unauthorized consumption”, — said the Prosecutor’s office.

A similar case was filed because of violations in the Karabudakhkent district. There are debts for gas exceeded 422 million rubles. “Only 2 months of the current year subscribers unreasonably assessed the debt for gas amounting to more than 36 million rubles”, — told in Prosecutor’s office. Inspections are also planned in other districts and cities of the Republic.

Previously, the Factory district court of Grozny has obliged “Gazprom Mezhregiongaz terrible” to write off the debts of the population for gas in the amount of 9 billion rubles, a statement the court asked the Prosecutor’s office of Chechnya, which feared mass protests. “Gazprom Mezhregiongaz” plans to appeal the decision. With a request to write off debts for gas already delivered by the deputies of the Smolensk region and Bashkortostan, and Chuvash Republic.
