MURMANSK, January 15 — RIA Novosti. Dozens of branches of “Mail of Russia” in the Murmansk region began to sell beer to increase profitability and reduce the number of victims of low-quality alcohol, told RIA Novosti in the Murmansk branch of “Mail of Russia”.

The beer appeared on the shelves of the 40 post offices in 152 working in the region, especially in remote areas.

“The implementation of alcoholic products will allow to increase the profitability of post offices and to raise additional funds for the modernization of the network of post offices. In addition, the implementation of low-alcoholic beverages in the post offices provides access to the population to high-quality and certified products,” explained RIA Novosti chief specialist of corporate communications Olesya Golushkova.

She noted that according to the CPS annual average of 1250 people become victims of low-quality alcohol and its surrogates. “The implementation of low-alcohol products produced in accordance with the current legislation”, — said the representative of the Murmansk branch.
