The court arrested four accused in the deaths of people in a fire at the mine “Uralkali”
Moscow. 25 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — They are accused of infringement of safety rules at conducting the mountain works, entailed death of nine people.
The Solikamsk municipal court of Perm region on Tuesday granted the petition of the investigation about the arrest of four defendants in the case about the fire in the barrel construction of the mine “Solikamsk-3” (skru-3), reported “Interfax” the assistant to the President of the court Natalia Panteleeva.
According to her, the mountain master Andrew Cuprisin and Igor Chukaev, the chief object of mine complex skru-3 Andrey Artyukhin, the head of the section N5 of the complex Maxim Kanischev arrested for one month and 29 days — to February 22, 2019.
All four employees of the construction Department N680 FGUP “US-30” (contractor “BRIC”), which carried out construction work at the mine in Solikamsk.
He was charged under the article “Violation of safety rules mining operations, causing the death of three or more persons” (part 3 of article 216 of the criminal code).
On the morning of 22 December, on the construction of the fourth barrel of the mine “Solikamsk-3” Uralkali caught fire, caused, according to preliminary data, construction works. Work on the trunk acted FGUP “US-30”.
At the time of the incident under the ground was 17 people, eight of them were brought to the surface. Another nine were trapped in the mine, their bodies were found on Sunday. Five of them were residents of the Perm region, three of Bashkiria and one in Krasnodar Krai. Fully the fire was extinguished by Sunday evening.
SU TFR in the Perm region opened a criminal case upon state of emergency under article “violation of safety rules mining operations, causing the death of three or more persons” (part 3 of article 216 of the criminal code). The case was transferred for investigation to the Central apparatus of the TFR.
The families of the victims will pay the compensation.
