The Prosecutor’s office called the average amount of a bribe in Russia in 2018
MOSCOW, 18 Jul — RIA Novosti. The average amount of bribes in Russia in 2018 amounted to 609 thousand rubles, said Tuesday the official representative of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Alexander Kurennoy.
“The total amount of bribes in all cases under article 290 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Bribe”) amounted to 1.8 billion rubles, and the average sum of a bribe — 609 thousand roubles”, — he said on the Internet channel of the Ministry “Ether”.
The Colonel added that from January to September of 2018, it was revealed 186 bribes in especially large size, i.e. more than 1 million rubles.
The total amount of them amounted to 1.5 billion rubles, and the average size of more than 8 million rubles.
During this period, 826 cases were detected bribe in the considerable size — from 25 to 150 thousand rubles. The total amount exceeds 48 million, and average — 58 thousand rubles.
In the large size — from 150 thousand to a million rubles — for the period identified 538 of these facts, the total amount of 193.5 million rubles, the average amount of bribes here 364 thousand rubles.
