The artist draws detailed maps of cities with bird’s eye

Each work takes several months.

British artist Carl Lavie and photographer Lorna Le Bretones created a massive art project called “69 cities of the UK.”

In 2016 they travel around the country and within a few months carefully studying the city, exploring them on foot, making sketches and taking photographs of attractions and the fine details.

As a result of joint hard work get amazing black and white drawings, but rather detailed plans of cities, with roads, houses, parks and other facilities.

But this is not the schematic drawings, but real three-dimensional paintings showing the city from a bird’s eye view from a certain angle.

The last work of Charles and Lorna — six-foot canvas with streets and scenery of the Scottish city of Perth. In January 2019, the painting will be exhibited in the local Museum.
