Putin has updated the Strategy of state national policy until 2025
MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that made changes to the Strategy of state national policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025. In particular, the document includes two sections about the targets and results expected. In addition, refiners got some other points of the Strategy, in effect since 2012.

According to published on Friday the decree, the targets in the updated Strategy called, in particular, the proportion of citizens who positively assess the state of interethnic relations, the number of citizens, celebrating the lack of respect itself, discrimination on grounds of ethnic, linguistic or religious affiliation, and the proportion of citizens with negative attitudes towards foreign nationals.

Among the expected results of the Strategy called strengthening the unity of the multinational people of the Russian Federation and all-Russian civic identity, the formation of a single cultural space of the country, the prevention, peaceful resolution of conflict situations in the sphere of interethnic and interreligious relations, creation of conditions for social and cultural adaptation of foreigners in Russia. In addition, the number of expected results — strengthening the status of Russian as an official language, the language of interethnic communication and one of the official languages of international organizations, providing conditions for the preservation, study and development of languages of peoples of the Russian Federation, and support of indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation, including the creation of necessary conditions for the preservation and protection of their ancestral habitat and traditional way of life.
According to the decree, the section of the Strategy on the current state of interethnic relations among other things, supplemented by a new paragraph on acceptance in the Russian Federation the Republic of Crimea. “A significant event to bolster the all-Russian civil identity was the adoption in the Russian Federation Republic of Crimea and the formation within the Russian Federation new subjects — Republic of Crimea and the Federal city of Sevastopol.
