British media called “Masha and the Bear” propaganda of the Kremlin

British media called the popular children’s cartoon “Masha and bear” the tools of “soft propaganda” of the Kremlin, reports The Times.

The publication notes that the spoiled girl and the bear, symbolizing Russia, affecting the fragile child mind, just as the influence adults “Russian propaganda channels” like RT. In the article Professor Anthony GFIS from the University of Buckingham, an expert on intelligence, calls the main heroine Masha “furious and disgusted”.

On the cartoon channel in English language signed more than 4.2 million participants on YouTube. In different languages the series looked at least 40 billion times for 13 channels, according to the publication.

“Masha and the Bear” repeatedly accused of propaganda. Earlier on similar topics spoken Estonian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian media. All seen in the main character himself, “forced to seek protection for the big bear.”
