The members of the Central election Commission of the Russian Federation raised the question of whether the election Commission of the Primorsky territory to perform their functions after irregularities in the elections of the regional Governor.
“We are talking about a systemic, deliberate violations that led to the result that we’re seeing,” said a member of the CEC Boris Ebzeev at the meeting of the CEC.

He noted that the regional electoral Commission failed to provide “the constitutional requirements and our electoral legislation”.
Meanwhile , the CEC Chairman, Ella Pamfilova did not agree with the low assessment of the activities of the election Committee of Primorye. “Allow me to disagree with this assessment of the election Committee of Primorye. On the contrary, thanks to Tatyana Valerevna (the head of the electoral Commission of Primorye), members of the electoral Commission, they quickly worked and interacted with us,” — said Pamfilova at the meeting of the CEC.
Earlier, the CEC recommended that the electoral Commission of Primorsky Krai to recognize the results of the second round of the gubernatorial election invalid.
The CEC also said that if the electoral Commission of Primorye will not follow recommendations, you will cancel the elections, the Central election Commission of the Russian Federation.
The CEC adopted a resolution which recommends to recognize the election results invalid. Information on possible violations in the elections in Primorye will be sent to Federal law enforcement agencies.
