From a Museum in the US has kidnapped thousands of live spiders
The police have not arrested anyone.

Thousands of live spiders, Scorpions and other exotic insects was abducted from Philadelphia insectarium.

The thieves took more than 80% of the Museum’s collection — about 7000 creatures, including entire colonies of cockroaches rhinoceros and other beetles with a total cost of 40 thousand dollars.
Among the stolen animal — a rare praying mantis, lizards, frogs, snakes, Diplopoda and seemigly sand spider, the bite of which is dangerous to life. Some species are under threat of extinction. The insurance will not cover the loss of the collection, told in insectaria.
As it was established that the theft was carried out from the inside. A surveillance camera caught several employees over several days was carried out of Museum boxes with insects. Later they came on shift.

About a dozen insects were seized from the home of one of the suspects, but the other disappeared without a trace. Philadelphia police are investigating the case but have not made a single arrest.
Rare insects are in demand on the black market and relatively easy to sell, according to the Museum staff.
