Guterres urged countries to provide financial assistance to UNRWA
MOSCOW, September 1 — RIA Novosti. UN chief Antonio Guterres regretted the US decision to stop funding middle Eastern UN Agency for assistance to Palestinian refugees and works (UNRWA) and calls on countries to assist the Agency said in a statement the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stefan Dujarric on the organization’s website.

The proportion of American funds in the annual of 1.2-billion budget of the Agency amounted to about $ 350 million.
