Trump was outraged because of a leak to the media of his comments on the negotiations with Canada
Moscow. August 31. INTERFAX.RU — U.S. President Donald trump on Friday expressed dissatisfaction that the media got his opinion on the trade negotiations with Canada which were not expressed to the public.

“I made the comment to Bloomberg about Canada’s off the record; this is a significant agreement was unceremoniously violated. Great, another dishonest report. I’m used to it. At least Canada knows what is my position!” — wrote President in his Twitter.
Earlier in the canadian newspaper Totonto Sun appeared privately voiced the position of the trump uncompromising approach to trade negotiations with Canada.
As explained by The Hill, these observations trump, apparently, was made on the eve — during an interview given to Bloomberg in the oval office.
The Toronto Sun, in turn, said that while Bloomberg and accepted the condition of the President not to publish his comment, directly between the canadian paper and the White house such an agreement was not. Thus, according to The Hill, it is unclear how private statements trump has got the Toronto Sun.
The American President regularly criticizes the media in the United States. In January this year on the website of the Republican party, he published a list of journalists that he actually invented was awarded the prize for the publication of false statements. It turned out to be, including CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post.
