Chinese airliner made a hard landing at Manila airport
MOSCOW, 16 Aug — RIA Novosti. Of the Chinese airline Xiamen Airlines has made emergency landing at the international airport of the Philippines Ninoy Aquino, reports Airlive.
Before landing, “Boeing 737-800”, EN route flight MF8667 of Chinese Xiamen, within an hour circled over Manila. At the second attempt the pilot managed to land the aircraft.
According to media reports, the accident damaged the left engine of the Boeing.
One of the reasons could be the overcrowding of the runway, said Flightradar24.
It is unknown whether there are victims among the passengers.
