Officials in Alaska to move out of the typewriters because of cyber attacks

Employees of the district administration Matanuska-Susitna river in Alaska were forced to use typewriters because of a failure due to cyber attacks on computer networks.

As informs TV channel bi-Bi-si, virus Ransomware has attacked almost all computers in the district. The program entered in the internal system and alarm servers.

Specifies that the Ransomware scheme of ransomware: software encrypts data and then requires a reward for their recovery.

According to the head of it Department, Eric Wyatt, mass failures of computer networks was recorded on 24 July, experts are still working to restore encrypted data.
