Japan detained the citizen of Russia — the captain of a fishing vessel flying the flag of Togo. On Thursday, August 2, reports the Agency Kyodo.
The ship was seen in the Japanese exclusive economic zone. The coast guard asked to stop for inspection, but the ship tried to escape, reports TASS.
The chase continued for about three hours. On the ship there were 14 people, including a citizen of Russia. The nationality of the other sailors was not specified.

At the end of July this year in the South Korean port of Busan was detained the Russian ship “Palladium”. The reason was the complaint of seamen for unpaid wages. Crew members indicated that the size of the debt in five months is 250 thousand rubles.
